Brooke’s Thoughts
So this story didn’t go in the direction I thought but I wasn’t mind blown either. I liked that a woman was the brains behind the operation. I was hoping for something more like Ocean’s Eleven but I get how that would be hard to fit into a short story. This could potentially be turned into a heist movie though. I usually enjoy Andy Weir’s books and Janina Gavankar did a great job with the voices. Overall, 4 stars.

Kevin’s Thoughts
I also gave this one 4 stars. It was entertaining but very short. The quantum computing was interesting but it didn’t seem very futuristic to me. For only winning $750,000 or so, definitely didn’t seem worth the risk but at least she was able to think quickly for another solution that will make them more money. She’ll probably still end up in jail though once the quantum computer boxes fail for all the other casinos.
