Brooke’s Thoughts
This was very middle of the road for me. I like murder mysteries but there was nothing that was really gripping me. Also, usually, I can guess or have an idea of who the killer is or what their motive is but I had no idea with this story. I did like the parts discussing relativity and how the crew could see the rise and fall of societies and how trends tend to repeat throughout history.
Favorite Quote
A millisecond was nothing compared to an hour, and an hour was nothing compared to an eon. It was all relative in the void.

Kevin’s Thoughts
Void was an entertaining read but nothing special. I enjoyed the ship and the impacts of relativity on the crew never being part of society beyond the ship since time flies by with every voyage. However, on the mystery side, it was too short to really get to know the characters and care about their motives. I would definitely travel on Redundancy. To see another solar system and potentially return to Earth far in the future would be so cool!
